About Us

Worship Time:
Sunday service is held in the sanctuary at 10:30am and is one hour in length.
After the service there is a coffee hour for all members and guests with light refreshments.
Coffee hour provides us with an opportunity to connect with friends and meet with people
visiting Ballard Vale United Church for the first time. In July and August, we worship in Shaw Hall (access by the Clark Road door, larger of our 2 parking lots) it’s cooler and more casual for
 the summer months.

Children:
Children are always welcome to Ballard Vale United Church. Children four and older
are invited to participate in our junior sermon which takes place 20 minutes into the service.
After the children’s sermon, children can go to their Sunday school class or remain at their seat.
For children under age four we provide nursery care which one of our ushers can direct you to.

Communion:
Communion is provided the first Sunday of every month and ALL are welcome
to participate in communion regardless of faith. Communion consists of bread and grape juice.
There is also gluten free bread available to those with dietary sensitivities.
